Explanations

Bow In Class lines up and kneels. A short meditaion is called after which students and instructor bows the front of the dojo. Students then bow to the instructor.
Warmup Basic stretches and body toning exercises.
Basic movements The 6 basic movements of Yoshinkan Aikido.
Hajime Style Paired training where partners perform techniques with each other in a continuous basis, directed by the instructor.
Lesson Plan The techniques and theory taught that class.
Kakari Geiko A round robin sytle of training where the class splits into smaller groups. A senior student leads each group. Each member pratices a specific technique designated by the instructor or group leader. Students take turns iterating through the group and executing the technique with each group member. This is done in a continuous way.
Bow Out A repeat of the Bow In, except there is no short meditation.
Announcements Announcements are made and then class is dismissed.

For the kids' class we omit the more formal structured style
of the adult class and do things in a less formalized and relaxed atmosphere. Students are expected to display self control and listen to the instructor.
At the end of each class we play an Aikido related game or Dodge Ball.
